PCA Donates
When PCA partners with destination events, we not only support the event, its mission, and its participants, but we also give back to the local community that welcomes us to perform.
For Gay Games 12 in València, Spain, we are currently vetting local nonprofits that align with our mission. Our goal is to select a beneficiary where our summer donations and engagement will create a significant, lasting impact.
What are we looking for?
An organization based in València that serves people in València; that aligns with the PCA mission and values; that will, with our donation, be able to directly serve and improve LGBTQ+ lives and more.
When PCA selects a beneficiary, here is what we generally find important:
1. It must be a legal (and currently active and operational) nonprofit/nongovernmental organization that can accept donations from US based nonprofits.
2. It should support the lives of people in the LGBTQ+ community and/or other marginalized and historically underrepresented groups (e.g., BIPOC, Disabilities).
3. It should be local to the city/area in which we are performing (València, Spain).
4. The size of our donation (recently in the range of $2,500 to $12,500) should be tangibly impactful to the cause and its programs and projects.
5. The organization must be willing and able to partner with PCA, The Federation of Gay Games, and the Host Team València, before and during the event, for this purpose.
