Step 1: Understand the Job

The Pride Cheerleading Association Board elections have historically been a nominations based election process, but this year we are trying something different. We're skipping the nominations period, and we want to hear directly from YOU, potential new Board Member! We hope you apply!
Both parts of the application are due September 1, 2025 at 11:59pm PDT
By submitting an application you are agreeing that you have the time, bandwidth, and interest to be a potential future Board Member. That being said, we know life happens. You may withdraw your application at any time by emailing nomcom@pridecheerleading.org.
WHAT IS THE PCA BOARD OF DIRECTORS?
PCA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a Board of Directors that meets regularly to manage nonprofit business and direct activities that manifest the mission and purpose of this organization.
Mission: PCA advances charitable cheerleading globally by creating community, developing resources, and spreading cheer in pursuit of equity for every individual in the LGBTQ+ space and beyond.
PCA's four Pillars of Purpose:
1) DEVELOP new teams and existing teams: Provide education, tools, and infrastructure to grow charitable cheerleading teams.
2) SUPPORT teams and their volunteers: Offer encouragement, inspiration, and guidance to empower member teams and their volunteers to thrive.
3) UNITE member teams and their volunteers: Foster community, collaboration, and belonging across and within member teams.
4) RALLY for LGBTQ+ causes: Raise spirit, awareness, and funds for LGBTQ+ communities and organizations.
Step 3: Submit Video Interview
There are TWO parts to your application. Every applicant must submit two Google Forms:
1. Application Google Form (above)
2. Interview Questions (below!)
There are different questions for current incumbents re-running than there are for "NEW" applicants who are not currently on our Board at this time.
The goal of these responses is for us to get to know you - the person! There are no 'right' or 'wrong' answers and none of the questions are intended to be trick questions. Just answer authentically and true to who you are and what you bring to PCA. It is our preference that you record a video and provide a link to your answers, because we'd like to get to know you better beyond words on a page. If you require technical assistance to make this happen please feel free to reach out to nomcom@pridecheerleading.org! If you absolutely must provide written responses it won't be held against you - we understand life happens and skillsets vary.

Our committee is made up of all the currently serving Directors who are not up for re-election. Our job is to make sure that you feel ready to put your best foot forward and hit submit!
